Ignacio Muñoz-Sanjuán, Ph.D., is a neuroscientist with 18 years of drug discovery experience in neurodegeneration and neurophysiology. Ignacio obtained his PhD at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and his postdoctoral fellowship at The Rockefeller University. He is an empathic scientist and humanitarian who has led programs utilizing small molecules, antisense oligonucleotides/AAV-driven gene therapies, stem cell strategies, and biomarker discovery to enable clinical trials in Huntington’s disease. He has co-authored more than 100 articles and book chapters.
